Last week 6th grade finished up their Día de Muertos project. They had to create a Shoebox Ofrenda to celebrate and remember Latino Saints.

Today, Middle School celebrated Hispanic Heritage Month and so much fun was had!
Students had the opportunity to dance, decorate 3D sugar skulls, construct a mural, make quipu knots, learn some Mayan math, build maracas and play soccer. Parent volunteers provided our students with a magnificent spread for lunch. Students ended this day with a movie.
CORRECTION: Varsity Soccer will be played at Marian on Sunday!
Our 8th graders just completed their Outsiders reading unit. They celebrated the end of the unit by having a Greaser/Soc dress-up day while watching the movie.
