Artsonia is an educational company dedicated to integrating technology into the school classroom, developing multicultural education by enabling students to view other student artwork from faraway countries, and increasing parental involvement by enabling parents and relatives to visit the student art gallery and give feedback to the student artists.
Family and friends can leave online comments about students' artwork on our website. Students will be excited and proud to read these comments. For safety and privacy, each student's parent must visit the website and review the comments. In order to do so parents must register with Artsonia. Parents will also be notified when new comments are ready to approve.
Each artist also has a "Fan Club", which family and friends can join. Fan Club members receive automatic email updates whenever the artist publishes new artwork, receives new comments, and more! . Students can earn awards on our website for participating in the activities above. For instance, any artist that has 10 or more comments about their artwork will receive the "Rave Reviews" trophy. These trophies are proudly displayed next to the child's artwork.
A variety of items are available for purchase with the student's artwork on them through Artsonia, with 15% of the money spent comes back to St.Thomas to be spent on art supplies.
